Cereform appoints Sales Manager

for Speciality Products

With 15 years experience in the baking industry, Lynne Wilson has been promoted from Logistics Manager to Sales Manager, Speciality Products, for bakery ingredients company Cereform.

Initially employed by Spillers Premier Products, Lynne remained with the company when it became Dalgety SPP and subsequently Kerry SPP. This business was taken over by Associated British Foods and became Cereform. Lynne joined the new business, first as Sales Administration Manager, then Logistics Manager, and now as Sales Manager, Speciality Products.

The Speciality Products portfolio is an important one within Cereform, covering the company’s specialist blending service, soya flour, and cooked grain and cereal products. However, Lynne’s lengthy experience makes her well-equipped for the responsibility.

Sole manufacturers

Cereform’s soya flour, kibbled soya and soya bran are the only Identity Preserved soya products of their type produced in the UK. Manufactured at the company’s mill in Royston under strictly controlled conditions, and supplied to industrial bakers and non-bakery manufacturers, all Cereform soya products are identity preserved to ensure they are non-GMO status.

The cooked grain and cereal products now coming under Lynne’s jurisdiction are produced at the company’s cooking plant in Corby, where the blending service is also located. This specialist service offers customers a highly skilled team, combining extensive development and production experience.

State-of-the-art

The Cereform blending service utilises state-of-the-art Buhler blending equipment, operated by experienced blenders. Customers can expect a consistently blended powder, whether they are looking for a blended flour or a more complex cereal blend. The blend can then be robot-packed into paper sacks or bulk bags, or blown into bulk tankers if required.

Although happy to provide a straightforward mechanical blending service, Cereform also has the resources and expertise to develop blends to customers’ specifications. In addition, Cereform’s unparalleled knowledge of active ingredients is a valuable complement to the service and available to be used in conjunction with the development of a blend. So a bread mix, for example, can be further enhanced and improved with Cereform bakery ingredient technology, to create a highly innovative product which cost-effectively meets a customer’s requirements.

Comprehensive service

Cereform’s blending service, under the Speciality Products banner, is ideal for flour millers and cereal manufacturers, and for producers of batters, grain blends and innovative cereal products. The service has ample capacity at Corby to meet the needs of most customers and, with Lynne Wilson now at the helm, the entire Speciality Products division has the knowledge, resources and commitment to give Cereform customers exactly what they want.
